FLU (Influenza) Natural Remedies

Influenza Viruses are characterized by fevers, chills and body aches. It is the body’s way of eliminating toxins. Contributing causes of viruses may be from toxin buildup, possibly from a poor diet, too much tobacco, alcohol, coffee, soda, and fast foods.

There are few medical treatments. Anti-viral medications are not used for common flu viruses. However, from a natural approach, there are remedies that build the immune system and increase the body’s ability to eliminate toxins.

Many people ask me if they should get a flu shot, or not. Truthfully, flu vaccinations have not been proven to work and may contain mercury and other toxic substances. Scientifically, there are over 300 viruses floating around at any one time. That leaves less than 1% chance of success! There are other issues of safety and efficacy, including side effects.

In France, many doctors recommend using Oscillococcinum once a week for prevention of the flue or several times a day at the onset of the flu symptoms. I suggest using a few pellets of Oscillo weekly. This should be enough to stimulate the immune system naturally.

It is nice to know that you can help the body work through a virus condition, but prevention is even better. A good immune system prevents a virus from reproducing wildly and making you sick. You can improve your immune system by eliminating dairy products, coffee, black tea, alcohol, soda pop and tobacco. Use a natural food source Vitamin C, and the herbs, cell salts, and homeopathics below.

Disclaimer: some drugs and herbs should not be combined.
