Teething is the process in which teeth break through the gums in infants and toddlers. Symptoms may include painful gums, irritability, sometimes fever, and often diarrhea. As this is just a natural process, sometimes a poor diet can initiate worse symptoms.
Medical treatment includes topical analgesics that may have side effects. From the natural point of view, a better diet and natural supplements can make the process easier.
Natural Healing Protocol: Combining supplements will do more to support your body’s ability to function properly than using just one. Use the following remedies for best results — your ability to heal will depend on the severity and length of time your symptoms have been present.
Herbs for Teething Children
Herbs are plants valued for their specific strengthening/ tonifying properties.
The following herbs help with pain and inflammation in teething:
Dr. Christopher’s Nerve Formula (liquid in glycerin 2 oz) – tastes pleasant. Use ½ the adult dose several times a day, as needed.
